銀の粒がある「gin drop 」のケーキ皿です。
三日月のような形に銀の粒があります。
お皿とお菓子、お料理で絵をつくるように、うつわの余白を楽しんでいただければ幸いです。

この銀の粒は、窯で焼成すると現れる粒です。一粒一粒付けているのではありません。
30年前に熔接のガスバーナーで作品を焼いているときにたまたま銀の粒が現れ、そこから研究を始めた釉薬です。自然現象で現れる形や表情、作為のようで作為でない表現が出来ればとうつわをつくっています。

【お手入れ方法】
食器用スポンジで中性洗剤にて洗ってください。食洗機のご使用はお控えください。
電子レンジのご使用はお控えください。
釉薬に少量の銀が入っているため経年変化で変色がありますが、少し変色した際に重曹に少し水を加えてペースト状になったものを食器用スポンジか柔らかい布にとって磨いてください。
長期間ご使用されない場合は柔らかい布にくるんで空気を遮断できる箱やジッパーフリーザーバックにて保管してください。シルバーアクセサリーと同様のお手入れが必要となっております。ご注意ください。色の変化を楽しむ(色を育てる)方もおられます。育てると渋い雰囲気になります。

【酸性が強いお茶（プーアル茶、ルイボスティー等）は銀の粒が変色しますのでご使用をお控えください。】

This is the “Gin Drop” cake plate, featuring silver specks.
The silver specks are arranged in a crescent shape.
We hope you’ll enjoy the empty space on the plate, using the plate, sweets, and food to create your own composition.

These silver specks appear naturally during the firing process; they are not applied one by one. Although small, they will not come off.
This glaze originated 30 years ago when silver specks appeared by chance while I was firing a piece using a welding torch. Since then, I have been researching and developing this glaze. I create these pieces with the hope of capturing the shapes and expressions that arise from natural phenomena—expressions that seem intentional yet are not.

【Care Instructions】
Wash with a dish sponge and mild detergent. Please do not use a dishwasher.
Please do not use a microwave.
Since the glaze contains a small amount of silver, discoloration may occur over time. If slight discoloration appears, mix a small amount of water with baking soda to form a paste, then apply it to a dish sponge or soft cloth and gently polish the surface.
If you will not be using the item for an extended period, please wrap it in a soft cloth and store it in an airtight box or a zipper freezer bag. Please note that it requires the same care as silver jewelry. Some people enjoy the color change (letting the color develop). As it ages, it develops a more subdued, mature appearance.

[Please refrain from using highly acidic teas (such as Pu-erh tea or Rooibos tea), as they may cause the silver particles to discolor.]
